CAI HONG – also known as Razor by everyone here – moved his neck from side to side as if cracking it. What he said earlier was true. The deep wound he sustained really 'woke' him up.
It's not that he was really asleep. His focus was just not on the things that were happening right now. That's why his reaction was a bit too dull. His avatar was simply giving the appropriate reaction on every action that was thrown at him. Like a robot moving on auto-pilot.
But because of the wound inflicted on him, his mind cleared and he was now completely awake. So, he hadn't really made an effort since earlier. He really should not have stayed awake until morning. Because of that, he only had a couple of hours of sleep. So, this wound was pretty much well-deserved for not taking things seriously.
