"What should I explain to you about sacrifice?" Lilac squinted her eyes at her mate. She bit her lower lip to prevent herself from losing control.
Instead of listening to her, Jedrek grabbed her wrist and stepped even closer until he could feel her warm body.
"Let's end this," Lilac said grimly and watched as Jedrek shook his head.
"Please Lilac... Don't do this to me..." Jedrek begged her.
"You know what will happen to me in the end. This is not something that you can change..." Lilac reminded him again.
"But, will you come back to me?" Jedrek noticed the uncertainty in Lilac's eyes and felt suffocated, for he already knew what her answer would be.
He didn't want to hear it from her...
What was he supposed to do with this situation? It was selfish of him to still wanting her to stand beside him after what he had done. After he broke her heart and made her suffer, going through all the hellish pain that she didn't deserve...
