Lilac widened her eyes in horror when she heard Jedrek's determined statement, she couldn't believe that he could say such a thing.
"No," Lilac said in confusion, as she backed away from him. "How could you say that?"
"Lilac, I don't want to talk about this, trust me and let me handle this," Jedrek talked to her in an impassive tone, he knew this would be her reaction. "You don't have to do anything, just stay with me."
Lilac shook her head vigorously. "Jedrek, do you even understand what you were talking about right now?" her voice was barely a whisper in her shocked state. "You want the war to be prolonged? Do you realize what you were asking for?"
Everything seemed very strange, Jedrek looked like a crazy man when he said that he wanted the war to continue longer than necessary. It shouldn't be like that…
