Author note: *Please read before proceeding*^^ This book is my first ever book I write which means it has a mountain of grammar mistakes and plot holes that I haven't edited yet or proofread. I wasn't thinking very straight while writing and after chapter 25 there might be quite a jump in the story that may confuse you, although that would be explained in the next chapter. But if you are still fine with this all and is able to manage after the warning, then please read. Or if you can't, you can go ahead and read my other books ^^

Enraged voices echoed through the large house-

"GO OUT OF THIS HOUSE !"

"YOU'RE NOT OUR DAUGHTER ANYMORE !" Her parents raged.

Her father looked with disgust at Li Lian while her mother hugged her younger sister, Xie Hue Lin with a disappointed expression. Xie Hue Lin feigned innocent and starts to cry innocently toward her mother.

" No!!!, mother, father, I'm sure Jie Jie can explain, please she must be not the person in the video !"

After she calmed her mother, Hue Lin ran toward Li Lian and holds her hand softly " Please Jie Jie, the person in the video is not you right?".

As she finishes her hypocrite worry, Hue Lin smirks as she slowly whisper to Li Lian with a low voice so that her father and mother would not hear her "See, they believe me more than you, Sister, I have been shadowed by you all this time, but remember, you are only a long-lost daughter that had just been found! I'm the original young mistress of this house!"

Hue Lin push her self down suddenly and acts as if Li Lian pushed her " Jie Jie..." she continued to cry meekly.

"Hue Lin! are you alright!!" asked her mother and she glares again at Li Lian

When she saw Hue Lin pushed by Li Lian, her father screams in anger " Li Lian this is the last time you step in this house, from now on you are not my daughter anymore!!"

Looking at her birth parents Li Lian was shocked, even though she wasn't raised by them Li Lian was still their own daughter and yet they don't even want to hear her words.

They would never hear her explanation, and the fact that she was accused and trapped by Hue Lin, the fact that he hires people to kidnap her and force her to take and inject drugs, the fact that she nearly died! Whatever she says now, everything would sound only like a lame excuse. They would never believe her-

Li Lian walk out of the house and took her car key out from her pocket. Just as she was about to step in her car, the man that she loves stood in front of her with a dark expression. "He Chang Min" Li Lian called his name with a bright expression as if she had just found her only ray of light.

But soon, her bright expression faded as she sees the person beside He Chang Min. Hue Lin hugged his arm and hid her crying face on his chest.

"Li Lian... I'm sorry, I.. " before He Chang Min finished Hue Lin tugged his hand and speak.

"No, Min-ge, I'm the one who's sorry, I'm really sorry Jie Jie, I Love him! We decided to be together, please give us your blessing!" Hue Lin wipes her tears sorrowfully.

Seeing Hue Lin tears, He Chang Min felt a need to protect Hue Lin, " No it's not your fault, I'm the one who love you, and Li Lian, you should understand, we need to break up"

Hue Lin hide her smirks behind her sad and self-blaming face 'now even your man is mine, your family, and everything that was once yours is now mine!' Hue Lin smiled at Li Lian without being seen by Chang Min.

Looking at both people flaunting their love in front of her face, she didn't feel sad or disappointment nor anger instead she could only feel disgust.

Li Lian thought to herself, 'Even though I gave you everything...This is how you treat me back, Chang Min? All this time...All that sweat words you whisper to me...How stupid...How stupid I was to believe you.'

"Then be sure to be happy." Li Lian replied with a scornful expression.

Seeing Li Lian's unchanging expression, Hue Lin frowned, 'Why is this b*tch not crying? ...Ah!- Perhaps she was to surprise to even cry!' Hue Lin smile in satisfaction as she finally brought destruction toward her own blood-related sister.

Li Lian continues and went inside the car. Quickly, Li Lian starts the car engine and quickly drives away from the place where all her kindness was betrayed and stepped on. In midst of her chaotic and heartache, Li Lian only has one last person that she could rely on that is her foster mother.

Li Lian's foster mother is the only person that had always supported her since she arrived in China. The only person who was kind at her without any restrain. Now that she's in an utter state of desperation, her foster mother is her last pillar-

After a few minutes of driving, suddenly her phone rings. She puts on her earphone and answers the call

"Is this the family of Yue Xiaoli?"

Li Lian felt a sense of foreboding creep out from the corner of her heart as she answer, "yes, I'm her daughter."

"Miss, there was a fire at your mother's house and know she is at the Chen hospital, she is in a critical moment, right now"

Li Lian's heart sunk from the news, cold sweat drips from her forehead, and her voice began to tremble. "W-What?Chen Hospital? Yes, I will be going there right now."

Li Lian rubs her eyes that glazes with water. Although she was very worried about her mother, Li Lian's car pace was not that fast after all, she could not possibly risk her life in an accident before meeting her mother.

'It's weird...' Li Lian thought, 'The accident that happens to mom is too coincidental! It's suspicious!' However, the only person who has this much grudge and power to do this...' Is it Hue Lin?'

"No way...Is it possible...Did all this happens because of Hue Lin?" Li Lian's eyes glazes with rage. She could accept what happened to her...but! Hue Lin had clearly crossed the line! She can't back down now! Li Lian swore in her heart, 'Hue Lin even though you are my sister...I will not forgive you!'

Suddenly- a light flashed on her right side she looked at it and 'BAM', a truck came crashing at her.

Before she closes her eyes many things flashed through her mind, her memory, the beautiful, the sad and the time when she was betrayed, 'is this how am I going to die? I still need to do my revenge on her! I don't want to die, mom, how about her?, I swear I would do my revenge on her even if I became a ghost, even if I have to crawl back from the depth of hell!' Slowly she closes her eyes and her consciousness drifts away

Yue Li Lian opened her eyes slowly, as she raised her body, she felt sluggish as if her body was not her own. Her body felt stiff and it couldn't move as she wanted. Li Lian rubbed her blurry eyes and sat on the bed. Her mind was in chaos, she didn't know what happen or where she was.

While Holding her aching head, Li Lian thought, 'Wasn't I'm in an accident? Didn't I die? this doesn't seem like hell nor heaven, what happens? I was in an accident and I..- Mom! That's right! Mom was in an accident!' Li Lian abruptly removed everything around her and stood up as she remembered her mother was in an accident.

Li Lian walked and she leaned her trembling body to the wall to support herself as she walked. Only a single thought resided on her mind, driving her body 'I need to see mom! '

Even with her legs that tremble madly Li Lian still walk toward the door desperately. Suddenly, a pang of agonizing headache struck her head, her body tilts to the side nearly falling harshly down to the floor.

Li Lian shut her eyes tightly, but rather than the pain she should've received from the fall, a strong arm catch her body swiftly.

As Li Lian opened her eyes, fluttering her curve eyelashes-

Another pair of light-colored eyes interlocked with hers. Gazing to the eyes, Li Lian felt as if her soul was being called in by those pair of eyes.

Li Lian's heart raced loudly as if it was about to burst. Flowers bloom upon her heart like spring, she couldn't understand why, but her eyes couldn't move its gaze away from his.

The man exhaled in relieve knowing that he was able to save Li Lian from the fall at the right time. Slowly, he raised Li Lian's body and helped her to steady her body with his arm.

The man that helped her had a magnificent pair of light-colored brown eyes, charming features that have a tinge of coldness and skin as pure as jade.

"Li Lian." The man called her name. Unlike the coldness of his face, the man's voice was warmer than she expected. Hearing his warm voice, fluffy feelings seep through her heart. Slowly her worries, anxiety, and burdens ease just by hearing his voice.

"Yo...You, who are you?" Li Lian felt her voice was really sore and coughs a bit before she continues to ask.

When the man heard her cough, He frowned in worry. "Excuse me." He says as he knelt and raised his hand to carry Li Lian's body toward the hospital's bed. Seeing her line of vision titling, Li Lian's expression froze.

Flustered, Li Lian asked, "W-What are..."She turned her head and looked toward the direction he was going and stopped her question. 'Oh- So he's helping me to go back to the bed...'

The man pushed the button near her bed and called the doctor. He patted her head before taking a seat on the sofa "wait for a bit. " he said.

Less than a minute after the man called the doctor. A group of doctors quickly came to her room while wiping their non-existent cold sweats. If someone looked at their expression as they dashed inside Li Lian's room, people will surely think that they were chased by a fierce ghost.

About 7 doctors gathered in the room. All of them shared the same worried and scared expression as they saw who was sitting on the sofa.

Without a word, the man cast a glance at them, giving them a silent order.

Following the man's order, the doctors took a turn to check on Li Lian. Startled or confused, Li Lian didn't do anything and freeze up at the spot while looking at the man. After a few minutes, one of the doctors who seemed to be the leader of the doctors walked to the man and starts his report.

"Mister Li, the madam's condition has miraculously improved! For the future, she only needs rehabilitation for her movement. Also, she still has a few other check-ups later." The doctor kept on wiping his sweat with a dark expression as if he was afraid by the man in front of him.

The man's expression remained unchanged, unlike the warm eyes that gaze on Li Lian a few minutes ago, his eyes turned cold and vacant, like a pair of black obsidians.

Quietly, the man nodded and waved his hand. As soon as they saw his hand, the doctor took their tails between their legs and ran from the room in a blink.

The man turned his face, Li Lian who was gazing at his face from a while ago met his eyes. Seeing her eyes that were fixed on him, the man let out a faint warm smile.

He stood from his chair and walked toward Li Lian. Under the sunlight that reflected on the golden ring on his fingers, a gold-colored light flashed. Li Lian couldn't help but notice the sparkling ring on his hand and realized another gold sparkle from her finger. She looked at the golden ring on her hand that had the same design as the man in confusion.

In the midst of processing what happened in her mind, a warm voice came out from the man.

"Yue Li Lian, I'm Li Jun Wei and also your husband"
