Rui took a bite of his sandwich, staring at the girl silently. While he was young, he wasn't naive. He knows how most people approach him for his father and recalled what their other relatives had said to him, saying that seventy percent of the people around him only got close for his wealth and the influence his father has. But that didn't discourage him from making friends, instead he only wondered what kind of person Bai Hua was.
"Yes," Rui responded briefly. He noticed how his short answer seem to have thrown the girl to confusion but he didn't care and continued to eat.
Yet Bai Hua wasn't exactly discouraged by his lack of words either. She sat beside him, "And you do have a mother right?!"
"Yes I do," he quickly confirmed, wanting everyone to know that he know have a mother.
"Is she pretty?" Bai Hua carefully questioned him, finding him nodding his head in excitement. "H- How pretty?"
