"There wasn't any problem," Wu Suyi said quickly, hoping that Jang WenRou wouldn't be angry. She could tell how much he loved her and knowing that if she was hurt, he wouldn't go easy on the people who harmed her be it their enemies or Han XiGuang.
But Han XiGuang didn't hurt her, it was an argument and she needed some time to make up her mind and settle the problem.
Jang WenRou raised his eyebrows, giving her a look, "If there wasn't a problem you wouldn't be sleeping here but back in his house. What's the problem? Did he hit you?"
"He doesn't hit me!" Wu Suyi quickly stopped her father from letting loose the dark ideas he had kept at bay. "Xi Guang would never hit me. We just had some arguments and I thought it was better for me to stay away from him for a little while."
