Chapter 6 - Not entirely stupid

Shera Black was currently soaking in the bath.

Just when she closed her eyes to enjoy the feeling of water against her skin, she remembered something. She seemed to have called for a meeting.

It wasn't that she had really forgotten about it, she just deliberately let them wait. That was one of the things she did when she frustrated - she liked torturing other people.

That was just the type of person she was; selfish to the core. She didn't care how unfair her actions were. To her, what she wanted was what she did. Such things as fairness and kindness were nothing but a load of crap.

When she was no longer so frustrated, she got out of the bathtub and left the bathroom.

In the dressing room, she opened the huge walk-in closet and simply took the first business attire she laid her eyes on. There wasn't any difference no matter what she wore.

All her clothes were, after all, black.

It made one wonder what kind of woman she was. Didn't most women like bright colours that were easy on the eye?

Not only were her clothes black, her room was dark-themed too.

The deep-colored carpet was perhaps the only thing with a different color in the whole room.

Even her curtains were... that's right, they were black!

Aside from her, no one would tolerate such a gloomy environment. It looked more like some scene from a gothic movie than a bedroom!

Nonetheless, she liked it this way.

It was hard to believe but although she always wore black clothes from head to toe, it didn't look strange.

Of course, I am not going to mention how she attended a banquet, no, barged into a banquet wearing a full rider's outfit, not caring that she would stick out like a sore thumb. That was one of those times that her ultimate insanity acted up.

When she was done dressing up, Purple heaved a sigh of relief as she finally drove her to CT Corporation. Even then, she was still a few minutes late.

...

CT Corporation

In the conference room, the managers all wondered whether they had arrived too early. The CEO was actually late for a meeting she called for? That wasn't normal, right? Then again, their CEO wasn't normal.

So should they wait or leave?

Just as they were debating in their minds, the door opened.

Everyone looked over. The woman walked in boldly, her assistant trailing behind her.

"President Turner," they all greeted in unison.

Shera Black merely nodded and took her seat then scrutinized all of them. Of course, she didn't bother to apologize for being late. She had done it on purpose anyway.

Her assistant, Elena, couldn't watch this anymore and bowed slightly. "I'm sorry that you all had to wait. President Turner suddenly had to take care of an urgent matter but didn't know that it would take long."

"Let the meeting start now." Shera Black didn't wait for their response. Did they have a choice?

That was right. Shera Black was President Turner.

In La Rose Noire, she was Shera Black, the expert troublemaker. But in CT Corporation, she was Arya Turner, the CEO.

Unexpectedly, she was a competent CEO with a pair of what people called "magic hands".

She had founded CT Corporation from scratch and managed to make it one of the nation's top companies in just a few years. If went to show just how capable she was.

As for her real identity, Purple was the only one who knew that she was Shera Black. She looked so different while wearing business outfits that no one could link her to that queen of trouble.

And, as anyone could guess, in CT Corporation, Purple was Elena. Contrary to her usual cute and adorable look at La Rose Noire, she would become a confident secretary and assistant when she accompanied the CEO version of Shera.

"I want you to hold a banquet in two days. We are going to launch a very important piece of jewelry." Shera said.

"President, please allow me to take this task." The deputy CEO said before anyone had a reaction.

"Okay. Mistakes will not be tolerated." Shera Black warned.

"Since that is settled, let's move to the main agenda. I gave each of you tasks. What's your progress?"

Beep!

At this moment, that stupid little lioness suddenly beeped and reappeared.

"How is your brain wired?! Can't you see that I'm in a meeting and choose a better timing?"

[Unfortunately, I do not have a 'brain'. But it sounds cool, I can ask for one!]

Shera really wanted to strangle the little thing. "Scram to the side. I'm busy."

[I thought you would need my help~ oh] The little thing sat where she couldn't see it, making its presence as scarce as possible.

Shera Black almost exploded. "Why are you sitting on my head????"

Ignoring the stupid little thing, she concentrated on what was going on before her.

But to her surprise, no one had spoken yet. The HR department manager was just preparing to speak.

Did that stupid thing cast a freezing spell on them? If it did, then it wasn't entirely stupid.

No, it was stupid. Why was it sitting on her head?
