A clashing sound rumbled in the forest sky. Each clash was sending a shockwave and shattering sound.
"Sky Step!"
"Sanguin Sword Art. Fifteenth Slash!"

It was a clash between Alex and the monstrous yellow bird. Although it seemed they were equal, the fact was that Alex couldn't get into the offensive stance. He was just barely able to block those previous attacks from the yellow bird.
Alex used his Sky Step to lighten the gap between them somehow. But it was pretty ineffective. Their power gap was just that big. Alex could somehow kill a 9-Star Master Stage Monster before, but it was with his 'Full Throttle'. This time, the one in front of him was stronger than that. It was a 10-Star bird. He also couldn't use his Full Throttle since there was still another big monster lurking in the forest.
