Shirley kept a close look at Noah for the whole day.
And she got nothing.
But she did not approach him. It was the only the first day and she got a bucket full of patience. Moreover, she did not want to rush her friend into a relationship. So she went back to Greg, he was waiting for her and he has some groveling to do.
Shirley reached his house five minutes ahead of time. Shirley wondered if his son would be there. If possible then she would like to have a chat with him. She knows that he is Drake's friend and she wants to learn from him how is Drake doing.
She just could not muster the courage to call him, not right now. Although she has processed all of the things that he wrote to her in the letter she needed more time.
