"Yes, I just got off the plane," Gu Yu replied.
When Xu Weilai heard his deep, pleasant voice, her jet black eyes subconsciously shone brightly and she seemed as if she was completely immersed in the sense of happiness that one would experience only when one was in love.
Xiao Chun picked up a piece of spicy beef that she liked and placed it into her mouth and yet she could not seem to taste it at all. She even choked on it accidentally and began to cough.
Xu Weilai quickly paused her conversation with Gu Yu and grabbed the teapot and poured a cup of tea before she handed it over to Xiao Chun.
Xiao Chun accepted it and after she drank a few mouthfuls, managed to stop the coughing.
"Are you alright?" Xu Weilai asked in concern.
Xiao Chun shook her head and assured, "I'm fine. I'll use the bathroom."
She then stood up and walked over to the bathroom quickly.
