He saw Chen Anyue's stricken state, after suffering a terrible injury from Peng Jipei and became bedridden. He even saw himself seek out Hui Ziwang for help and advice.
It was such that Yuan Xuelan felt terribly disorientated when time slowed down once more to something more normal. He was left feeling gutted, so many emotions coursed through him at once that Yuan Xuelan felt nothing at all.
