Diana pressed a palm on her lips as a sob escaped from her mouth.
Daisy's eyes snapped open and within an instant, she was pointing a gun at Diana.
Diana sobbed harder.
''You…'' Daisy speechlessly tucked the gun back in her jacket when she realized that it was Diana. She walked to the other side of the bed, ''What's wrong?"
Diana hiccupped. She pushed herself to her feet and threw her arms around Daisy's neck as she hugged her tightly, ''I w…was… so… s…scared…'' she rubbed her eyes with the back of her palm but the tears did not stop.
Daisy rubbed her back patiently.
