Members of Mu Family usually served in the military but Yang and Mu Rou were different. Yang herself came from a wealthy background and did not want her daughter to follow the family's footsteps of being rough and rugged in the military, so she had her daughter take the regular person's path of going to high school then university.
This should be something ordinary but it was not normal in Mu Family. Other than completely talentless descendants, everyone in Mu Family worked hard to become an excellent soldier.
