Allen was barely hanging on to his consciousness. He just regained some of it and was feeling groggy. Something was pulling him to sleep.
But that was the last of his concerns. He just witnessed the Priestess suddenly transform from her original form into that feline daemon who shocked him with strong lightning.
And then, he was fed a mysterious powder. And now he was feeling the need to enter a deep slumber.
'What is happening? Is she a shapeshifter? I… Aiden.. Where is he? What happened to him?'
From the corner of his eyes, he saw a short sword sticking out from the stomach of his partner.
It happened too fast. While Aiden was distracted, the Drifting Golden Fae disappeared into the golden light and switched places with the dagger to launch a sneak attack on Aiden.
He could barely hear the words being uttered around him. He was confused, but all that he knew was that they were played.
