'I did not expect to visit this place so quickly.' comment Lilith as she slowly descended at the very bottom of the Great Fissure.
"Are you sure you do not want me to accompany you, boss?' asked Dhampy as she anxiously watched her boss descend.
"Do not worry. I am only going to survey this place. If I deem it to be too dangerous, I will retreat. If I bring you with me, it might prove difficult running away while protecting you."
Dhampy's head hung low but she could not retort anything that had been said. After all, there was no lie. Lilith was now the strongest in the Village. Even if she was not the most skillful. Even if she was the most technical, her speed alone allowed her to blitz anyone and take them down before anyone could realize what happened. So she could only accept the reality that for now, she was useless, "I understand, Boss. But, please, take this."
