"Th—the Priestess did it! We're safe!"
"I don't know what you did, and I don't even care if you are a daemon! You rule little glowing flame daemon! You fucking rule!"
Everyone cheered for Lilith. From a rain of curses to a swamp of praises. The people heaved a sigh of relief in disbelief that they actually managed to survive. Those who left the City felt collectively inconvenienced for leaving the City in such an ungodly manner. But their celebrations did not last long as one of the Mages pointed out one glaring matter.
"Why… isn't she calling out her spell?'
"Huh?"
When Lilith appeared, she acted as though God itself would not be able to touch her. The power she showed was beyond the limit of common sense and she managed to overshadow the shock delivered by the azure flames.
It was a beautiful sight and everything was going well: until it was not.
