Lu Qingfeng returned to the Yun Mansion later than usual that night, leaving him with no chance to join Yun Qingrong and Su Xiaofei for dinner. He hadn't anticipated that the conference meeting he had earlier would take longer than expected.
When he entered the guest room he had been occupying for the past weeks, he found Su Xiaofei splayed on the bed, dressed in her silk nighties, with her long hair splayed over the sheets beneath her. She was browsing on her phone and only gave him a quick glance before returning her attention to it.
"Hm? We haven't gotten married yet, but you are already coming home late at night. Should I be worried, Mr. Lu?" Su Xiaofei commented, her eyes still glued on her screen.
When Lu Qingfeng raised a slender brow at her, Su Xiaofei scoffed.
"I've been waiting for you for an hour now." She complained with a pout.
Lu Qingfeng snorted before shedding his overcoat, hanging it on the rack.
