Xiao Rufeng felt a moment of sadness. She didn't want to return to her normal daily routine just yet. She wasn't ready to be parted from Yan Xiuchen, not when they were starting to try to get to know each other better. Alas, their two weeks arrangement was almost over, and she needed to get back to work soon and face her responsibilities.
"Did I say something wrong?" She heard Yan Xiuchen ask, with a hint of guilt in his tone.
Xiao Rufeng shook her head and sighed, placing her fork down to face him. She didn't want him to think that he was the problem, when the truth was she was the one who was too cowardly to face the problem that awaited her once she left the safety of his mansion.
"I just realized that I haven't made a decision yet. President Su gave me an ultimatum to decide how we should deal with my sister for what she has done to me." She told him.
