I take several deep breaths before shaking out my trembling fingers. I slowly reach up and slip my hood up over my head as snow begins to fall once again. As they grow closer and I'm able to see their outlines through the smoke, I spread out my fingers and use my powers to lift all the metal beads up out of the pouches.ย
I split them up into even tinier beads as I lift them higher up in the air all around me. I remain still, waiting for them to step forward but they pause. One man yells out "Hold!" as the others come to a stop. I hear someone get out of a vehicle before walking over and asking "What the hell is this?"ย
Silence is heard before another man says "I don't know... Maybe they're burning their dead from last night?" The other man scoffs before saying "We can't drive in this! We can't see shit! If we try to drive through this, we might hit something or each other!"ย
