I open my eyes to the sound of the alarm. on reflex, my hands reach for the snooze button. Trick is still sleeping, there are soft sounds from his side of the bed. I can't help but smile at the sight of him. He's so peaceful when he's asleep. There's something so intimate about watching him sleep. It's like he's my world, my everything. I watch him for a while, my mind lazily wandering to the events of the previous day. The sun is streaming through the window, lighting up the room, I can't help but smile. I am not a fan of mornings but with him, they have become my favorite part of the day.
