Lucas took off his shirt and used a towel handed by the shoulder to wipe away the blood and dirt from his skin. Nick was also assisted by the other soldiers to change his clothes, while the rest were picking cars that they could use and rummaging through the things left behind in the abandoned cars.
"You were very clever while fighting earlier, Nick, to use the horns of the cars to distract the zombies. You also thought of dissecting the paralyzed zombie to know the location of its weakness. You are really courageous and brave. We thank you for your efforts," The soldier told Nick before handing him his change of clothes.
Nick nodded with a smile before he turned around to change his clothes behind a car. After he was done, he went back to the others and looked and found that they were arranging the bags that they were carrying earlier and finished looking for extra gasoline. They also picked out a truck good for five people each.
