"Darius," She whispered his name when she realized that he didn't intend to say anything. He just stared at her in silence, making her more nervous than she already was.
"Darius?"
Without saying a word, he grabbed her hand and led her away. She nervously hurried to catch up and when he stopped, she looked up at him fearfully.
"I already know." He broke the silence.
She bit her bottom lip. Would he hate her now that it was becoming more obvious?
"Follow me." He instructed, and she followed him with her heart on the verge of leaping out through her mouth. They finally got to the library and she was even more nervous.
"I know who you are and I don't mind in the slightest." He started, pulling a chair for her to sit. He didn't sit himself, pacing in distress instead. "However, I cannot speak for the gods in the human realm. You know what they think of demons." He warned.
