Even though there was a lot of sentimentality going on during the night, most of them had a good night's sleep that evening. Ye Jieye goes to the kitchen in the morning to begin preparing food for everyone, only to find that Mo Xuejing had unexpectedly arrived earlier than expected after preparing some ingredients that needed to be prepared in advance.
Ye Jieye is a god; there is no way he did not see Mo Xuejing and Mo Yuhan that night. He just voiced those words out for them to hear, and he expected Mo Xuejing to back off after hearing them, but he did not expect him to stay regardless of what he had learned. Unfortunately, he is not willing to love another person unless it is his wife; his heart only moves for one person, and even if he sees Mo Xuejing as an illusion of his Jing'er, he can never truly love him.
