The whole way home I didn't want to make a sound. My anger was too high but I couldn't blaspheme Jono in front of Anna or his two cousins. I'm too lazy to argue anymore.
"Do you have thrush or are you hungry?" teased Edi innocently putting a hand on my forehead.
Automatically, I could see Jono glaring at Edi. Unfortunately, Edi did not see the codes that Jono sent him. Instead, I pushed Edi's hand away. Surprisingly, Jono still glared. Not to Edi anymore but to me?! What did I do wrong this time, Jon?
"At this hour, you know, Di. I'm sleepy." I replied timidly.
I shouldn't have to be afraid of anything, especially with Jono. But I would be overwhelmed if Jono did something to me after I got home. I don't want to be disturbed.
"It's very bumpy." Jono pouted which finally made a sound but seemed cynical to my ears.
