"Papa, aren't you coming back next week?" Anna shouted from behind the bedroom door when she heard Mami's voice sighing in disappointment.
Her husband, Papi, couldn't go home to Prembun because he had some meetings with important clients. The day they had promised was a celebration event for the opening of Mami's new salon which had been long overdue.
"Anna, my dearest daughter. Don't be like that, okay? Papi has been busy lately. Please understand." Even though she looks disappointed with her husband, Mami still defends Papi in front of her child.
"Papa, you're not having an affair with a woman younger and prettier than Mami, are you?" said Anna in a sarcastic tone.
