A few days passed, and everyone was settling into their new home. Kana put a three-layered barrier around the floating island to keep all unwanted people away. She also did it to capture the water that was falling off the side to make a nice little swimming area around the island. At a point at the bottom, the water would slowly drain as it was replenished by the sole river that flowed across the island. Where the water came from, even Kana did not know it appeared out of thin air.
Kana also had the barrier set up so that the Vamprie could walk around during the day, which they were very thankful for. And slowly, they were becoming normal day walkers as Bell turned each one.
On this day though, Kana was bored and was sitting on top of her house looking out towards the main island not far away. "Grandpa, the academy is over there?"
