The living room was silent.
Very silent.
Mo Roulan looked at Shen Youlin and He Jian who were staring at each other. He Jian's blue eyes were of course very cold and Shen Youlin's eyes were narrowed.
Mo Roulan looked between both of them but most of her attention was on He Jian.
She gulped in fear seeing his cold blue eyes and wondered silently how Shen Youlin was staring at them. Mo Roulan was sure that no one has ever talked to He Jian like this before.
Mo Roulan didn't even know that Shen Youlin was equally scared.
The young girl could feel sweat running down her back. It was only her desire of sleeping in the same room with Mo Roulan that gave her so much courage.
"Miss Shen will not sleep with Lanlan."
He Jian said coldly and very firmly.
Shen Youlin felt very angry. Her fear seemed to have lessened and she asked He Jian the same question again.
"And why so, Mr. He?"
