Mo Roulan cried hard.
She didn't know if it were the confusion she was facing in her mind and heart or it was because she was finally seeing her mother awake.
Whatever it was, she felt really emotional.
"Roulan…don't cry…"

Her own eyes were teary but her heart ached when she saw her daughter's trembling shoulders and heard her sniffles.
Her daughter had been strong even when she had fallen weak and submitted to her fate. Seeing her strong daughter like that, her heart ached.
"Sshh…Mom is fine."
She whispered softly as she wiped her daughter's tears.
Mo Roulan nodded her head and wiped her tears hurriedly.
Lin Qianru smiled through her tears. However, she stiffened when she heard a familiar yet an unfamiliar voice.
"Ruru…"
Lin Qianru inhaled sharply when her eyes fell on the old woman standing at the door. Soon the vision went blurry as her eyes started to fill up with fresh tears.
