My head throbbed from pain when I opened my eyes. My vision was blurry so I couldn't figure out where I was.
I felt like I was floating and moving so I mustered my strength to stand up. I turned around and realised that I was in the car.
I looked at the driver and quickly got furious when I saw the man who introduced himself as the real Benjamin Miller.
"Where is my husband? What did you do to him?" I yelled.
He didn't answer but instead handed me a white envelope. I frowned and glared at him.
"It's from your husband." He said.
I wasn't supposed to believe him, but I was unsure why I snatched the envelope from him and quickly opened it. My heart started beating so fast and so loud that I couldn't hear the busy streets of Northbay.
My hands shivered when I realised it was a letter from Jayden. I knew it was really from him because it was his handwriting.
