How many days it has been? Three? Four? No, I think five days. Ah. I lost count of it. I was beaten and tortured every day with little to no food and water.
The man who was torturing me would come as soon as the sun rises. He would stop at noon and leave me with a glass of water and a slice of bread but sometimes he would leave me with nothing. Then he would come back after an hour or two and would start beating me again.
The beating would stop when the sun sets and the man would smirk at me, sometimes spit on my face before leaving me bruised and bloodied.
The last time I saw Benjamin was on the way into this shithole. He never set foot in my cell. That's what I called it—a cell. The place was like a prison anyway and I was thinking that I might die in this cold dark space.
Although I was being tortured every day. I have never regretted my decision. I have to be strong and make sure not to die until they find me.
