After Emily stopped crying, Steven knocked on the door and entered the room as if he was unaware of what he heard in her talk with Martin.
" Hi, Emily… How are you? " Steven started a conversation with her. '' Fine" she replied in one word with a small smile and stood up to leave the room.
" I felt sad to hear about your father. We didn't expect Grayson to plan something like that," he said sincerely.
" I too didn't expect it. But I lost him forever. That bitch killed him even though I agreed to her words…" she said in a cracked voice. Steven looked at her face and found tears in her eyes.
" Don't be upset. We all will be there for you in any situation, just your family " Steven promised her. She smiled weakly and nodded her head.
