The blond's joy quickly faded as he got closer and saw the bracelet coiling around Marsha's wrist. Now that he heard what the girl had just said about the bracelet, rage flared inside him, engulfing his heart with the flame of jealousy.
"What else did he buy you? No way he only gave you this bracelet!"
Marsha's proud smile grew wider as she listened further. As she shrugged her shoulders arrogantly, her finger twirled the end of her curl that fell loose on her chest. "Don't you guys notice anything at all?"
"Hmm... Wait! We've never seen you use those stilettos before. Did he also pay for them?"
"And this purse. And this dress!" Marsha grinned happily, "I can't mention the other stuff because there's just too many of them!"
