The blond knew Jade was worried about his rude uncle's attitude, so he pulled his lips into a contrived smile and nodded. "Yeah, it was good. Maybe you should join us later." He kindly replied.
He thought he shouldn't entertain Ezra and ruin his good mood further, but since he was feeling petty, Ryley added, "Oh, and perhaps you can take your uncle with you. They said the spa can help cure high blood pressure and saggy skin."
His words undoubtedly triggered Ezra that the latter pulled Jade aside and faced the blond with his face fuming in anger. "What did you just say?!"
Ezra was losing his temper at the blatant insult Ryley threw at him. His hand raised high, but Martin stepped up and caught his wrist, shielding Ryley behind him. "What's wrong with it? He's just stating facts!"
