"You son of a bitch! This wasn't part of the deal!" Yves's voice was laced with fury and betrayal as he lunged at the driver from behind, attempting to strangle him.
However, the guard easily overpowered him, and as Yves fought against the inevitable darkness creeping in, he was forced to inhale the noxious fumes of the chloroform gas the man had unleashed, his world fading into obscurity.
He used the remaining strength he had left and pulled himself against the backseat, pounding weakly on the rear windscreen as if to break through the confines of the car.
His heart ached as he witnessed his closest allies being herded like helpless sheep by the guards, as if they were being led to the gallows for a cold-blooded execution.
