Sitting with people in a full house, watching them chat and laugh and act like all was fine in the world, Oliver wondered if this was his life eventually turning out well, with people who cared about him, or if this was fate messing with him again.
Telling Liam about himself, he hadn't thought it was draining until he did so. He never wanted to think about those memories he'd shared with Liam again. For some reason, he felt lighter after sharing those, but he was still very apprehensive. It seemed he had been in a trance when he had that conversation with Liam. He couldn't remember what else had happened aside from talking and sobbing. So when he opened his eyes the next day and regained consciousness, he wasn't sure what to expect from Liam.
