"Sorry about that. They are usually not like that," Liam said as soon as the two of them got inside Liam's room.
"Really?" Oliver asked in a tone that said he didn't believe that.
"Yea. Totally. Sureee— they are like that," Liam eventually conceded when he realized he was a bad liar, causing Oliver to chuckle as he went to sit down on Liam's bed.
"Your dad... he is nice."
Liam smiled as he went to sit down beside him. "Yea. He is. But you don't want to see him mad."
Silence fell in the room with the two seated there awkwardly, not knowing what to say next.
Liam's phone beeped, causing him to turn his attention towards it and open the text he had just received from Sophie.

Just then, Oliver asked, "Where are Harry and Sophie? I thought they were coming up here?"
With a faint smirk, Liam dropped his phone as he answered, "They had something to do and left."
