Liam continued baking and when he was done, he served Oliver his before taking Cindy's to her room where she was busy with her homework. He had told her not to come out of her room until she was done with hers. He only hoped she was not going to doze off.
He returned to the kitchen and served himself before sitting across from Oliver. This time, he didn't serve the pie with hot chocolate but with a milkshake instead.
"How does it taste?" He asked Oliver.
"Nice."
"Nice?"
"I think the last one tasted better... sorry." Oliver said with an apologetic smile.
"Damn it! I knew I didn't do something correctly." Liam dropped his cutlery, which clattered on the plate loudly.
"This... is also good." Oliver tried to appease him.
Liam had a taste and furrowed his brows as he tried to find out what was wrong.
"Too much nutmeg." Liam pointed out.
