Liam could not remember the last time he was called into the principal's office. As he sat down there, normally he would have been worried and his brain would have been rapidly trying to figure out the reason he was there and why they were waiting for his homeroom teacher, Mrs. Davies before the principal said anything. But he was too lazy to think about anything.
Friday night had been terrible. Saturday morning, he went to Western Coast to see his mother, who looked better than the last time he saw her. He had simply joined her in bed and hugged her without explaining to her why he was in a bad mood or why his phone's screen was shattered.
Saturday evening, he went to the gym to start working, same thing on Sunday evening.
He didn't see Oliver at all. Oliver didn't even try to call or text him. Just like that, it was as if the past week they spent being friends never happened.
Mrs. Davies entered the office.
