Chapter 8 - Oliver's special someone

"Holy Shit! Dude knows how to smile!" Harry exclaimed in surprise.

They were currently on their way out of school when they saw Oliver standing outside the school gate. He looked like he was waiting for someone. Sophie and Harry wanted to approach him, but they stopped when they saw him smiling while looking at the direction of a red motorbike which was approaching the gate.

The bike and whoever was riding it, dressed in a complete black leather outfit with an helmet, garnered a lot of attention so a lot of students stopped to stare.

The bike stopped in front of Oliver who was still smiling at the person. When the rider's took off the helmet, they were surprised to see it was a young girl. A young and very pretty girl that left people in awe.

She flicked her short red hair after taking off the helmet, and hugged Oliver tightly. The smile on her face was splitting.

"Holy.... cow!" Harry exclaimed. "She is..."

Hot. Liam admitted to himself as he looked at her. Maybe he wasn't interested in dating anyone now, it didn't mean he would hide the truth when he saw it.

"I bet that is his girlfriend. No wonder he hasn't bothered to spare a glance at any girl since he arrived here." Sophie said with a tinge of jealousy in her voice. Not only was she really pretty, she could ride a bike, and had a really good looking boyfriend. She was glad this girl didn't go to their school or else, she would have been invincible when compared to her.

"We should go meet them and invite them to my party." Harry said and was already leaving before the other two could agree or disagree.

Liam wanted to leave since he needed to get his things ready and move to his aunt's place, but Sophie dragged him with her.

"You are embarrassing me. We should leave." Harry heard Oliver say to the girl as he approached them.

He made sure to keep his most perfect smile when he approached them and greeted,

"Hello!" He smiled while looking at the two of them.

"Hello too." The girl said, looking at him with a curious smile.

"I'm Harry, Oliver's classmate and soon to be friend." He extended his hand.

She giggled, "I'm Amanda. His special someone." She shook his hand while smiling, ignoring the questioning look Oliver was giving her.

Special someone. That definitely meant they were dating.

Liam and Sophie also heard it when they got closer.

Harry was a little bit disappointed. He had hoped she would be his relative or something so he could flirt with her but it seemed like that wasn't going to work.

"We are having a party at my place this Friday night. I wanted to specially invite Oliver but since you are here, I guess I have to invite you too. What do you say?"

He was directly looking at Amanda. Most girls loved to party so he was hoping she would be interested and invite her boyfriend to join them since Oliver already told them he didn't like to party.

Oliver answered first, "No."

"Yes." Amanda agreed to the invitation.

"We are sooo going to be there. Just let me know where you—"

"You don't stay in this town, Amy." Oliver chipped in as a little reminder.

"She can always visit and if you are worried about where she'll crash before or after the party, my place is open. But... that is probably not the case since she is your girlfriend and can stay with you...right?" Sophie asked.

She would really love to spend some time with this girl and get to know more about the mysterious Oliver. Having a little bit of information about him on her blog meant many more followers for her. She didn't want to miss such opportunity for anything.

"Thanks for the offer. You are so lovely. I'm Amanda." She extended her hand to Sophie who shook it eagerly.

"Sophie. And this is Liam." She gestured beside her.

Amanda's eyes brightened when she saw Liam. She extended a hand and he hesitantly shook it.

"Your boyfriend?" Amanda asked Sophie.

"No. Not at all. We are just friends." She answered.

Amanda's eyes lingered on Liam for a second before she stepped back.

"I guess this is it. Nice to meet you all, but we have to leave now. You can text the address to Oliver and we'll be there this Friday."

Oliver didn't bother to add anything. He had already made up his mind he was going nowhere. He planned to live the rest of his high school days quietly. He was going to do nothing else other than going to class and staying at home.

That was the plan.

"Take charge babe." Amanda threw the bike's key to Oliver, who swiftly caught it.

He climbed the bike and wore the spare helmet. He didn't bother to spare the others another glance. As soon as Amanda climbed behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist, he revved the engine and zoomed off.
