It took a moment for grace to understand what he just said, Mine? She gaped at him. "Excuse me?"
"what?" he challenged, raising an eyebrow with it.
"I am not your best friend anymore. You were removed from that position after leaving without telling me anything. If you want me to be your best friend again, earn the position."
"I will." Christian promised and his eyes shined in sincerity. "I promise you that."
"Good," she murmured, keeping their stare attached before feeling the intensity of the situation and looking away. She looked at the bag in her hand and played with its strap. "I may have a question."
"Go ahead."
She turned her head to him. "How did you know to come to this park?"
"It's a beautiful park." He replied, seriously.
"it's an average part of New York. There is nothing special about it. Even children don't come to play here, only the dog walkers are seen around."
