Timothy had driven back to the villa...
They used to live there all the time and Timothy had no problem coming back there. However, the situation between the two of them was somewhat awkward.
Moreover, Old Madam Barker was still in the hospital and Aunt Julia was taking care of her. The villa was therefore empty, which meant that the two of them had to be alone.
Plenty of things had happened between her and Timothy, and along with the bombshell of information that she heard that day, she was still pretty shell-shocked and had neither the mood nor the energy to settle their feelings.
That had to be delayed.
Timothy had already unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car. He went around to the passenger seat, opened the door, and looked at her with a tilt of his head.
When he saw that she was not making any movements, he whispered, "Sammy?"
