Ten days passed, and yet Gerald received no signal from Reznor to continue his task. He was getting bored sitting idle in that house. He felt like living in a cage. He missed Isabella, Oscar, Sylvia and specially Filch.
Bertha had already assured him that Mr Collins had taken likings toward the niffler, and Filch stayed with him, accompanying him.
One night when Mr Collins' health worsened suddenly, he had no means of informing to bertha. She was scared when she found him passed out in his bed in the early morning.
With the help of the coachman, she took him to a physician and had his health checked. The physician gave them some medicines, but he also reminded her of Mr Collins' old age and the dangers that come with it.
