Both Gerald and Theodora looked around. They had just noticed that since they had dived in, they hadn't seen any fish or marine animals.
How could that be possible? Where they all must have gone? Was it a sign of danger? Did that mean a large predator was roaming around and all the powerless smaller ones went into hiding for the safety of their life?
Gerald was confused when Theodora pulled him aside, and under the shelter of those large flask-shaped plants. She pointed in the direction from where that previous creature had come.
Gerald was baffled, looking at more marine animals swimming on the same route. The shoals of clownfishes, butterfishes and many other colourful ones approached in their way in waves.
But instead of travelling straight, they all turned to their left just like that previous creature with an antenna. Once inside that dark patch, they disappeared from Theodora and Gerald's sight.
It was strange... very strange!
