"Gerald, how long we need to walk?"
Theodora and Gerald walked after their previous encounter in silence until now. Theodora kept her mouth shut the rest of the way, but after walking for an hour, she was tired now.
So far, she hadn't encountered any wild animal, but as Gerald said, she could feel someone watching them all this time. Their predatory eyes were following them everywhere.
"Ten more minutes, I think." He sounded like he too was desperate to find an end to this trail.
Theodora checked her arms, scratching them to see she had a couple of cuts from the branches here and there. She was careful with her every step as she didn't want to step on any insect or worst a snake.
Nonetheless, she was mesmerised by that place. They too had a forest on Warthford Island, but it was nothing like this one.
