They were lying side by side on Azren's bed. It was the first time they were together on a bed, and Azren wouldn't hope for anything more as long as Michy would stay by his side.
Michy was an arrogant boy, and he rarely said something sweet to anyone. But, the boy was willing to drop his pride and said that he would stay by Azren's side. Not only once, but twice.
They only started dating today, and Michy didn't show a significant change aside from that. But for Azren, that small change was already so precious for him.
Just a series of words, but it was enough to make him feel better. For some reason, the pain that he felt in his heart gradually lessened the moment he was physically close to the human.
"So, what were you doing in front of my door earlier, Michy? I was just about to look for you, but it turns out you've been waiting for me in front of my door," Azren broke the silence as he dared himself to grab Michy's hand under the blanket.
