Nevaeh was shocked pale when she saw herself feet away from the ground with bright golden lights spilling out of her and engulfing her like a ball of fire. A teasing crackling of electricity surged underneath her skin, filling her body with immense heat.
It was similar to when that demon, Remus, had hurled her into the air and when she had been with Engel last night. Everything was similar except the intensity of the glow.
The light was glowing brighter, and the heat she felt internally was licking and crawling up her bones like a serpent.
Her eyes went as wide as saucers as she stared at herself with horror. She could never get used to seeing herself like this.
Her heart raced violently as she lowered her head to the audience below her, her eyes welling with tears.
Engel seemed to be in a state of shock, but she called out to him.
"E..Engel, wh...what's happening? Pl...ease get me down." She gasped between sobs.
