"You came earlier than expected." Sanaiah said when she felt Engel's presence in the resting room where she laid. Three pearl balls twirled in the air for her entertainment while she leisurely laid on a couch.
"Good to know you are expecting me." He strolled towards the sofa opposite her and occupied it.
"We're always expecting you, but you're too blind by your rage." She hissed, her eyes still fixed on the floating balls.
Engel cast her a glance. She wasn't wrong. This was indeed the first time he was visiting this place with a calm mood. In the past years, he had only been there thrice. When Nevaeh had died, when Elyon made him seek Sanaiah and other elders for answers, and when he had crashed their party. And in all these occasions he had been in a terrible mood, but not today.
