The moment Kai shut the door and flipped a turn to look at Jake, he immediately got dumbstruck —why?—The amount of luxury that stung at his irises was the kind that blew his mind away. Not that he was pretty much impressed by it,—fact remains he'd been lolled up into an ocean of superfluous wealth all his life—, so that was not the reason for his confusion. He was pretty withdrawn as he continued to assess every bit of Jake's grand apartment with his eyes. Then it struck him. As he ambled deeper in the living room, following behind Jake and his buddy, Jason, who were pretty much in a rather happy mood, Kai caught a clear glimpse of a bold piano sitting in the distance and a host of other musical instruments.
Kaiden walked until he felt the need to stop. Putting his one foot forward to meet the second one in front, he decidedly halted in his tracks and slipped his hands inside his pockets.
