"Would you like to hang out with me at the Back Alley?"
Pete looked at the guy with apprehension. It wasn't easy to get a membership at the Back Alley because you can't apply for it, it was being given to you, more like an invitation. He would bet a month's salary that Reagan and his friends didn't have a membership, they were mostly just invited by someone who was a member of the club.
And this arrogant man was telling him that he could hang out at the Back Alley. He smirked and ran his thumb on the rim of his glass. There was something about this guy that irked him since the first time they met.
But no matter what his bad impression of this man, he was offering something that would unruined his night. He could do what he was meant to do tonight.
"What?" The excitement in his voice leaked out to his annoyance.
