On hearing her sweet voice, Cameron turned towards Ava. He looked at Ava in black bodycon dress. But he could reminisce about her body wrapped with a towel in his mind which he stared a few hours before. He was looking at her without blinking his eyes. She felt uncomfortable with his gaze. She wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.
" Mr. Cameron…"
He came back from his thoughts with her voice. She gave a gift wrapped in boxes. Later she gave him payment bills which she purchased for gifts.
" Who is she! " Kevin asked Cameron, looking at Ava.
" My new personal assistant, Ms. Ava Miller " Cameron answered, keeping his eyes on her.
" Nice to meet you, Ms. Miller, " Kevin said. Ava gave a small smile at Kevin and replied, " it's my pleasure, sir. The employees in our company always talk about your hard work and talent "
" So . …My brother assigned you the work to buy the gifts for our parents' anniversary! " Kevin inquired her, looking at Cameron with a serious expression. Cameron stood nervously as he feared to hear moral lessons from his brother.
Ava observed both of them for a second and said, " Last night , I and Mr. Cameron went to buy a gift for your parents' anniversary. But the piece of gift which Mr. Cameron was not in the stores. The salesman asked to come and collect the next day. So, Mr. Cameron assigned that work to me. I came here to give it to Mr. Cameron but the security didn't allow me to come inside as I have no invitation" Ava lied as she understood that Kevin was upset with Cameron.
She believes in relationships and she doesn't want any complications in a relationship because of small mistakes. She thinks it is not wrong to tell lies to not break a bonding between two people.
Cameron was stunned to hear her sweet lies and looked at her with disbelief.
" Oh … thank you. ." Kevin shook her hand with a smile. Ava smiled back at him and looked at his hand. She noticed a silver ring with letter D on his right hand. Kevin noticed it and asked, " Why are you looking at my hand like that? " .
" That….I am looking at….your finger ring…" she stammered.
" Oh… it was a gift from a special person in my life…" Kevin replied whereas Cameron glared at his brother.
" Okay then . I will go…" she informed and turned her heel to leave the place.
" Miss. Ava…Why don't you go after having dinner! As you make an effort to bring gifts to our parents even on your weekend off " Kevin stopped her.
" But my aunt would be waiting for me. She will be upset if I am late…" Ava reasoned. Cameron wanted her to stay back in the party but his ego was not allowing him to ask her directly.
" I will arrange for the driver and a car to drop you at your place. Just infirm her that you will be late …" Kevin said to her, being a kind and soft hearted person.
Ava nodded her head agreeing as he asked her in a polite way. Just then, a young woman walked to them and greeted Kevin. It was none other than Mr. Lewis's daughter, Juliet.
" Hi…Juli…." Cameron greeted her.
" Hi ..Cam …it's been many days since we met. " She said and looked at Ava.
" Is she one of your random girlfriends? " Juliet asked him, giving a dirty look to Ava. She thought Ava was one of his one night stands.
" Don't tag something behind a girl if you don't know who she is, " Ava replied instead of Cameron.
